Successful kickoff
On the 3rd and 4th of December 2009 the kickoff of the EC-project Prospie: Protective Responsive Outer Shell for People in Industrial Environments, took place in Oegstgeest (NL). TNO is coordinator of this project, which will executed under the NMP-programme (Nanotechnologies, Materials and new Production) for SME’s.
Prospie is one of the seven projects which will be supported under the European leadmarket initiative on Protective Textiles. In Prospie is a consortium formed of 16 partners (see partnerlist) from 7 countries. The project runs 36 months.
The kickoff was a good mix of content, procedures and getting to know each other. The location: castle Oud Poelgeest, was very suitable for this happening. The projectcoordinator Jan Brouwer arranged together with the scientific leader Hein Daanen a solid program (see below). Together with some presentations of partners also the project officer of the EC, Mr. Antonio Cippolaro and a representative of EG-liaison: Mr. Michael Schijns presented.
