Rationale

The aim of this deliverable is to carry out a task analysis of the targeted users groups in order to take into account their needs in the design of the PPE.

Methods

Some sectors are extremely variegated for this reason an accurate literature analysis have been carried out in order to define the general conditions of the workers in the respective sectors then the focus has been moved on the analysis of the specific tasks taking into account the field trials that will be carried out with the PPE developed in the frame of Prospie project.

Results

An accurate task analysis has been carried out for the targeted users groups. The task analysis described the functions the workers have to perform, the duration, the intensity of the activity, the total work load, the movements they make during work and the situation that can determine heat stress. The accurate analysis of the tasks has been of primary importance in order to determine the best design of the suit for the workers in the target sectors.

Applicability

This work will be used in order to select the design of the Prospie suit for the workers in the target sectors.
