Rationale
The Prospie system should give a warning to the user and central control office when safety margins are exceeded. This document describes how the sensors are integrated in a prototype garment and how they function.

Methods

The work place sensors are selected based on the analysis in deliverable 2.1.

Results

The functioning of the work place sensors was shown to the Prospie community during the meeting in Magdeburg, December 2010. Heart rate, humidity, temperature and movements (accelerations) were monitored and made visible in graphs online. One external sensor monitoring CO2 was added.

Applicability

The sensor system forms an indispensible part of the Prospie system to warn the user and control room. The suit may also serve as a measurement tool for physiological strain determination under working conditions.

Conclusion
A working prototype of a sensors integrated in a clothing system was demonstrated.
